“I can’t call a donkey a horse. If the party feels my observation is wrong then either it is blind or (is) acting like a blind person,” a defiant Rai said in a statement.
Chhattisgarh Congress Tuesday suspended its rebel MLA R K Rai for making “derogatory” remarks against Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi. No doubt Mr Rai has made such an apt comment against a leader who has messed up bad and does not even know how to deliver a proper speech.
Let us look back at some of the incidents which happened during the span of about 2 years which could have caused Mr Rai to make such a statement.
After Being made the vice president of the congress party Rahul Gandhi had the below opinion of the party.
“It (Congress) is a funny party. It is the largest political organization in the world but perhaps does not have a single rule or regulation.
We create new rules every two minutes and then dump them.
Nobody knows the rules in the party”
The comments attracted a lot of criticisim and also gave a chance to opposition parties to lead a full fledged assault on the exposed wounds of the congress.
During 2012 the Congress-led UPA had a majority in the Upper house and in the lower house. Thanks to Rahul Gandhi’s leadership the coalition seats have fallen to just 49(Lok Sabha) and 66 (Rajya sabha).
During a congress meeting in Ahmedabad Rahul Gandhi made the below statement which went viral on social media and attracted widespread criticism and was enough for all to take a dig at his intelligence level.
“In fact, India is you know, bigger than Europe and the United States put together.”
The congress vice president who has always boasted about his party being a party of the common man made a comment as below regarding poverty .
“Poverty is just a state of mind. It does not mean the scarcity of food, money or material things. If one possesses self-confidence, then one can overcome poverty.”
While describing his interaction with women volunteers of the party he said.
“Agar aap yuva karyakarta se baat karen, agar aap mahila karyakarta se baat karen, pehli baar wo keh rhe hain ki bhai maza aaya, aur main ye jo maza hai hindustan k har vaikti ko dena chahta hun..”
(If you talk with young volunteers, women volunteers, they all are saying that they enjoyed, for the first time they enjoyed.. and I want to extend this enjoyment to every person of India). ”
A senior leader says, “In politics, you always need to have a window open. The problem with RG is that once he dislikes someone it’s palpable. Even in 1984 his father Rajiv Gandhi cut many tickets but, then we had 402 seats now we have 44 but, Rahul has not changed.”
One Thing that congress did to dig their own grave is appointing Rahul Gandhi as the party’s and coalition’s PM candidate.
We all know that he is one incapable leader and it is wrong to handle the hierarchy to him just by the name Gandhi.
