India becomes the 35th Member of the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) while China is trying to be a part of it from the last 14 years. After a mild heart break as India could not make it to the NSG post China and 4 other countries opposed India’s entry, the entry in to MTCR has bought smiles on the defense experts and the defense analysts. It’s a known fact now that the cold war between two Asian Giants India and China has reached new heights. These developments are closely monitored by the world. India’s entry to MTCR and opposition to NSG only means the arms race in Asia would increase to a alarming level With all three India, China and Pakistan feeling unsecured of each other’s success in missile technology.
Considering Pakistan defense personals are making statement hinting at war against India and increase infiltration in Kashmir could lead to massive outburst against each other. With India recently warning Pakistan of dare consequences if Pakistan promotes attack on Indian soil only hints at a War in near future to settle things once for all.
With world keeping a close watch on missile race and tension building among Asian countries this is how countries might react if at all a war breaks out between India and Pakistan
China : Without doubt will side with Pakistan. China will not only supply artillery to Pakistan but would also engage in war with India from the east to corner India completely and their by bring an end to the flourishing Indian economy.
US : The US will back India to the teeth. The US will try to make use of this opportunity to ensure India is made the super power of Asia. Pakistan and China’s lose in the war only mean the US regain their lost supremacy over the world.
Japan: Will side with India since Japan already has territorial issues with China pertaining to Senkaku Islands and with China backing Pakistan Japan will have more than enough reasons to support India. Japanizes companies have already made a huge investment in Indian economy. Japan will provide technical and tactical support.
Russia : With US backing India Russia might not aggressively support India, But they will for sure not side with Pakistan and China. Russia might more or less try to remain neutral until things don’t really escalate to a global warfare. But they will definitely back India on a global level
Australia : Might side with China to indirectly support Pakistan although Australia has never had a good diplomacy with Pakistan. It could also remain neutral.
United Kingdom : Even though they would want to remain neutral considering they are surrounded by European countries, the diplomatic pressure would ensure they side India.
Saudi Arabia : despite recent diplomacy ties Saudi will side with Pakistan and they would not want to let another Islamic country go down on its knees to India.
Iran : Will remain neutral. They would not want to go against Islamic country nor would want to lose the good relation with India.
Other Asian countries : While north Korea would side with China and South Korea with India other Asian countries will want to remain neutral since they see both India and China as their potential partners in global economy
Turkey : Will side with Pakistan and China considering the fact that Turkey shares a better diplomacy and economic ties with these two countries.
France : Will side with India. Rattled by terrorism France would want to side with India to bring an end to terrorist manufacturing centers of Pakistan.
With the involvement of big world powers, this war would well turn out to be the world war 3 and potentially destroy the world forever.
The above analysis was penned down just to understand how relationships among countries stand at the movement. I as a writer of this article would only hope that the world doesn’t see another war disaster and the world be a better place to live.
