Tender jackfruit/Katal Kofta curry

For Kofta:

Raw Jackfruit pieces- 2 cups(boiled)
Potato-1 big(boiled)
Ginger- ½ inch
Garlic-8 cloves
Green chilli-1
Garam masala powder -1 tsp
Bread slices-2(powdered)
Corn flour-2tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Cook the raw jackfruit pieces and potato, drain and keep aside.
-grind green chilli ,ginger ,garlic at first, then add cooked jack pieces churn it once, remove, add garam masala, salt, corn flour, bread powder, mashed potato and mix it into a smooth dough, make roundels, fry this in a “Paddu tawa” by putting very little oil, after frying both the sides, remove and keep aside. (U can deep fry this as well)
For Gravy: 

Onion – 4 (3 for grinding one for seasoning)
Red chilly powder-1 tsp
Slit green chillies -2
Ginger- ½ “ piece
garlic – 8 cloves
Cinnamon- 1″piece
Melon seed – 2 tbl sp (u can use cashew as well)
Kasoori meethi-1tsp
Ghee and oil-1tbsp each
Salt to taste
Method :
•Grind 3 onions, ginger, garlic, coconut, tomatoes, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon, melon seed to fine paste.
•Heat ghee and oil in a sauce pan add chopped one onion ,slit green chillies and fry. Now add ground masala paste ,salt and fry till the oil floats on top.
•Now add 2 cups of water ,sprinkle kasuri methi ,garam masala ,sugar and the Kofta’s and boil for 10 mins in a simmer.
•Garnish with coriander leaves .
